Strike handled the publicity for this fun event held at Old Street Gallery to celebrate the very best of the alternative poster art scene. The ten artist portfolios on display had been shortlisted by industry experts from hundreds of submissions worldwide and the opening evening on Friday 5th April saw the reveal of the winner and runners up. To celebrate this being the first event of its kind, free Voodoo Rays Pizza and Brockley Brewery Beer was on offer all evening! The exhibition opened its doors on Saturday for two industry talks from Doaly, the UK based artist who has worked for some of the world’s biggest studios and Dan Mumford, who will talked through his experiences, his screen printing techniques and how he has become one of the illustration industry’s most recognisable artists.

We invited press down from Buzzfeed, Comedy Central, The Resident as well as charitable partners and industry bodies. The event was a great success, with the venue reaching full capacity. We generated awareness through social coverage and online and print pieces in PrintWeek Magazine, The Hollywood News, Conde Nast Traveller, Roobla, Caution Spoilers and more.
